Yes. Honey counts as added sugar when it sweetens chocolate. One bar has 16 g of total sugar, including 16 g of added sugar.
Is honey sweeter than refined sugar?
Honey can taste sweeter than refined sugar, depending on the honey and the recipe. Some recipes need less honey for a similar sweetness.
Is raw honey healthier than refined sugar?
Raw honey contains polyphenols, plant compounds studied for their antioxidant activity. Their amounts vary with the honey. Some human studies, including studies of raw honey, have found improvements in cholesterol levels. Other studies have not found the same benefits. Honey still counts as added sugar, so portion size matters. These studies tested particular products and amounts, not our finished bar.
Does the bar provide fiber?
Yes. Our organic cacao supplies 5 g of fiber per bar. Fiber helps support regular digestion.
What are the benefits of dark chocolate?
Cacao flavanols are plant compounds that have improved blood vessel function in human studies. A study of a specific dark chocolate also found more regular bowel movements. Our cacao supplies fiber, which helps support regular digestion. These studies tested particular products and amounts, not our finished bar.

How does shipping work?
U.S. shipping has one flat rate per order, including subscription deliveries. See the current rate and choose shipping on the product page; any applicable tax is shown before you pay. We email tracking details when your chocolate ships.

How does Subscribe & Save work?
Your chosen quantity repeats every four weeks, with an additional subscription saving on every order. Choose U.S. shipping or free Phoenix pickup. Cancel online through Manage subscription. Email us before your next charge to change your quantity or delivery address, skip an order, or pause; changes apply after we confirm them.
How does the money-back guarantee work?
Your first order has a 30-day money-back guarantee, including your first subscription delivery. If you're not happy, email us within 30 days of delivery or pickup for a full refund, including tax and original shipping. Opened or tasted chocolate is covered. No food return is needed.
