Before choosing a bar, ask about food allergies and preferences. Use the finished product label as the source of truth; do not assume that a flavor name tells you every ingredient or shared-equipment consideration.
Give the delivery some thought
Chocolate should not wait in a hot mailbox or on a sunny doorstep. Send tracking to the recipient, choose a delivery address where the package can be brought inside, and consider local pickup when that is more reliable.
A small note is enough
Tell the recipient why you chose the bar and how to store it. Gift notes and scheduled delivery can wait until the finished product and basic fulfillment process are proven.
